• 180g Caramilk Chocolate broken into small pieces
• 150 g butter softened
• 50g caster sugar
• 1 cup plain flour
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 3 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla
1 Preheat the oven to 150 degree if using a timber box. Otherwise preheat to 170 degrees..
2 Prepare your slice box by lining it with baking paper.
3 Place Caramilk Chocolate into the Thermomix Bowl. Chop for 4 sec/Speed 9.
4 Add butter and sugar to the chocolate pieces. Melt 6 min/70 degrees/Speed 1.
5 Place flour, baking powder, vanilla and eggs into the Thermomix Bowl.
Combine 12 seconds, Speed 5 on reverse.
6 Pour Batter into the lined baking box.
7 Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through. Check frequently as some ovens may cook faster than others.
11 Allow to cool then serve
You can make this recipe the traditional way by melting the chocolate and butter in a saucepan on the stove. Then mixing all other ingredients through.
