1 cup plain flour
1 cup self raising flour
3/4 cup melted butter (cut it down to 1/2 cup if you are trying to be healthy 😂)
2/3 cup water
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup salted caramel chocolate powder purchase from here ➡️ Buy Now
1 tin of condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Sift flours, baking powder, soda and choc powder. Ensure these are sifted really well
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and gently mix.
I blitzed mine in my Kcook for 10 seconds until combined.
Preheat oven to 150-160 degrees. Line a square or round tin with baking paper.
Cook for approximately 30 mins until cooked through.
Cool on a wire rack. Ice with your choice of icing. I used fresh whipped cream with salted caramel powder and topped the cake with freshly picked strawberries.
600ml of thickened cream and 1 heaped tablespoon of salted caramel powder (plenty of cream left for tomorrow for our scones)
My piping skills need work, however with my new and trusty Tupperware piping bag it made the job easier!

Off the top of my head this recipe could be dairy free by using coconut oil instead of butter and using a tin of coconut condensed milk instead of normal condensed milk. Yummy!!!
