Ingredients:
- 6 Granny Smith Apples (use whatever apples really) – peeled, cored and diced into small pieces
- 1 small lemon, juiced
- 1 cup of shaved Coconut
- 1 cup of flaked Almonds
- 1/2 cup brown Sugar
- 2/3 cup Gluten Free Flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of Cinnamon
- 100g of Butter
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
- Prepare the apples: Core and peel apples. Cut them into small pieces.
- Place into a bowl and squeeze lemon juice over the top to prevent browning.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, shaved coconut, flaked almonds, and brown sugar.
- Mix thoroughly to blend.
- Add Cinnamon to the crumble mixture.
- Cut butter into small pieces, add to the crumble mixture, and rub together with your fingers until well mixed.
- Grease the baking dish with butter.
Place the apples into the bottom of your baking dish. - Spread crumble mixture over the apples.
- Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until crumble topping is golden brown and bubbling.
- Serve with cream or ice cream!
