Loaded Tuna & Vegetable Mornay – Thermomix

Ingredients:

  • 2 cloves garlic 
  • 50g unsalted butter, diced into pieces
  • 50g plain flour 
  • 1 tsp Paprika, red 
  • 1 tsp Italian herbs (used Mixed Herbs instead if you can’t source Italian)
  • 1 portion mixed vegetables. 1 Cup of Frozen Peas or vegetables
  • 1 sweet potato, grated and liquid squeezed out
  • 1 zucchini, grated and liquid squeezed out
  • 90g grated cheese 
  • 500g full cream milk 
  • 1 tsp Porcini salt
  • 425g Tuna, canned and drained

Method: (Thermomix)

  1. Chop garlic for 3 seconds/Speed 7. 
  2. Add diced butter, plain flour, milk, cheese, Paprika, herbs and Porcini salt.
  3. Cook for 8 minutes/90 degrees/Speed 4.
  4. Add in tuna and remaining vegetables.
  5. Mix well with spatula.
  6. Cook for 10 minutes/95 degrees/Speed 1/Reverse. 
  7. Serve with steamed rice or pasta.
