Jelly Biscuits

After talking to Kat, I had a hankering to bake some biscuits. Years ago she gave me this awesome recipe which I am still yet to make LOL! Sorry Kat!

I baked a jelly crystal biscuit recipe as that was what Master 8 wanted.

Ingredients:

  • 110g softened Butter
  • 1x 85g packet of Jelly crystals
  • 1 egg
  • 1 & 1/2 half cups of Self Raising flour, sifted
  • 1 tablespoon of Cornflour
  • Vanilla sugar to coat top of biscuits

Method:

1.Preheat oven to 160 degrees

2.Prepare your baking tray.

3.Line with a good quality baking paper.

4.Cream butter and jelly crystals.

5. Beat in egg.

6. Add sifted flours and mix

7. Roll into balls and place onto baking tray.

8. Press with a fork.

9. Top with Vanilla sugar.

10.  Bake for 15 minutes until cooked

These jelly biscuits look irresistible Ren!! So simple to make and I love the addition of the flavoured vanilla sugar to decorate and add flavour. The animal imprints are too cute. Will definitely be trying this recipe. Cheers for the inspiration 😄
