Fried Pickled Jalapeños

Chloe had been asking us to make these for quite a while. Tonight was the night we actually had time to try and create these.

This is what I came up with.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of picked Jalapeños (drained)
  • 1/2 cup Cornflour
  • 1/2 cup Rice flour
  • 1 teaspoon of Paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Salt

Method

  1. Preheat deep fryer or pan with vegetable or Canola oil.
  2. In a bowl, Prepare flour mixture by mixing ingredients well.
  3. Add in jalapeños and coat well.
  4. Deep fry until golden brown.
  5. Drain on paper towel.
  6. Serve with a sauce of your choice.

Tips:

We ate these on our soft Tacos and it took the tacos to a whole new level! Yummo!

Dip these into sour cream; it can help to cut down on some of the heat of the Jalapeños too!
