Satay Chicken Burgers


To make the patties:

  • 500g Chicken mince
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped spring onion
  • 1 carrot grated
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon Field Mushroom Salt

To make the satay sauce:

  • 1/2 cup of crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 tin of coconut milk. ( I make mine up from a packet of coconut milk powder)
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of satay spice ( STAY TUNED STILL IN THE TESTING PHASE….)
  • Method:
  • To make patties:
  • Mix all ingredients well and form into patties.
  • Fry in a pan until cooked through
  • To make satay sauce:
    1. Add all ingredients to a small saucepan and stir until sauce thickens and colour changes to a light brown colour.

    This sauce is absolutely delicious and can be used in many ways

    • Pizza
    • Pies
    • Satay skewers
    • Meatball dipping sauce
