I bought one of our favourite ‘fresh’ pasta sauces but stupidly left it out of the fridge overnight. What a waste!
I decided to create my own recipe. This has turned out absolutely amazing!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup herbs eg Parsley and Basil
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 large Onion, quartered
- 1 large Carrot, chopped
- 2 large Mushrooms
- 400g tinned or fresh Tomatoes
- 200g water
- 75g Olive oil
- 50g Tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons of Sugar (optional)
- 2 teaspoons Field Mushroom Salt
- 1 heaped tablespoon of Italiano Spice
- 1 teaspoon of Pepper
Method:
- Place garlic, mushrooms onions ,carrots and herbs into TM bowl and chop for 1 minute/Speed 8. You will need to use the spatula to help the items mix.
- Scrape down sides of bowl and add oil. Sauté for 5 mins 100 degrees/Speed 2
- Add all other ingredients and cook 30 minutes/Varoma/Speed 1
- Serve with warm pasta or Ravioli .
- This sauce is perfect for freezing too.
