Spicy Savoury Mince – Hubby’s Recipe

Hubby came up with this recipe and it’s delicious.

Ingredients 

  • 500g lean beef mince
  • 1 zucchini diced
  • 1 onion diced 
  • 250g mushrooms sliced
  • 1 head of broccoli diced
  • 1 tin of tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon of Nomad Spice or curry powder
  • 1 tin of 5 bean mix drained and rinsed
  • 2 cups of cabbage 
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic diced 

Method:

Fry onion, garlic, mince in the oil until mince is browned. Add spice mix and cook until fragrant. Add remaining ingredients and simmer until cooked. 

We also added in 1 fresh jalapeño for extra heat. 

Serve with rice.


Leftovers for my breakfast on toast. So so yummy!

  • Mince on toast
  • Make a pie
  • Top baked potatoes
  • Serve with pasta
  • Make jaffles
